Alex Denny (he/him)
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & TRUSTEE
Alex is Assistant General Counsel and Vice President (Legal) in the Global Markets (Fixed Income) team at Bank of America. Alex trained and qualified at A&O Shearman, during which time he was also seconded to the Private Credit team at Goldman Sachs. Alex studied Archaeology at St Catharineβs College, Cambridge, and both the PGDL and LLM Commercial Legal Practice at BPP University.
Beyond GROW, Alex is Trustee of a Model United Nations charity and an Officer in the Royal Naval Reserves.
Alex is a GROW mentor who also has paralegal and business teams experience. He is passionate about increasing access to and awareness of legal careers, believing that the best individuals to drive the industry forward can come from anywhere - regardless of background.

Meg Kelly (she/her)
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER & TRUSTEE
Meg is a trainee solicitor at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. She studied International Law and Globalisation at the University of Birmingham. As a first-generation student with a hidden disability, Meg is passionate about amplifying diverse and underrepresented voices in the legal industry and using her experience to show others that anything is possible.
In 2023, she was awarded the CEPLER Award for Outstanding Achievement in Extracurricular Endeavour for her dedication to community access to justice through her university's Free Legal Advice Group.

Helen is a Legal PA at A&O Shearman. As GROWβs Chief of Staff, Helen manages the charityβs internal and external communications.

ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Elena is a trainee solicitor at A&O Shearman. She studied law at Durham University, and thereafter completed a BCL degree at the University of Oxford.
As an international student, she is passionate about supporting and empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to navigate pathways into the legal profession.

Esenija Kiselova (she/her)
ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Esenija studied Law at the University of Bristol and is dedicated to promoting social mobility within the legal profession. Esenija is particularly interested in the rise of legal technologies and the future of the legal profession. In her spare time, Esenija serves as the Social Secretary of the Taylor Swift society and bartends.
Esenija believes that anyone should be able to succeed in the legal profession, and hopes she can play a part in encouraging this.

Lucy Nichols (she/her)
ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Lucy is a paralegal and LLB Law and Commerce (Management) graduate from the University of Wollongong, Australia. As an international student, she is passionate about diversity and inclusion and committed to advancing access to the legal profession. Lucy has a particular interest in the rise in emerging technologies and their impact on the legal industry.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, food blogging and photography.

Shreya Dey (she/her)
ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Shreya is a final-year student at Queen Mary University of London studying Politics and International Relations. As the first person in her family to attend university, and of an ethnic minority, she is driven by being a part of changing the legal landscape to be open and welcoming to everyone of all backgrounds.
In her free time, she is either playing netball, at pilates or finding the next great matcha spot.

Anastasia Solovieva (she/her)
INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Anastasia is a Technology Specialist at Bacci, where she focuses on digital transformation and AI management.
Having completed her dual degree LLB in English Law and German Law at Kingβs College London, she is now combining her passion for the legal sector and technology by commencing the MSc in Digital Innovation at UCL this September.Anastasia is thrilled to support GROWβs international expansion and is looking to help advance diversity and inclusion across borders, drawing on her own multicultural background and experience studying abroad.

Theodore Pittas (he/him)
INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Theodore is a final-year law student at the National University of Singapore and a concurrent LLM candidate at Kingβs College London.
Alongside his studies, he has gained experience across M&A, finance and fund formation teams at international law firms. Theodore is passionate about increasing access to careers in commercial law and founded the Commercial Law Careers Society at NUS. Having benefited greatly from the guidance of mentors, including as a GROW mentee, he is a strong believer in paying it forward.
Outside of law, Theodore is also a freelance scuba diving instructor and enjoys collecting whisky.

Faeqa Chowdhury (she/her)
EVENTS DIRECTOR
Faeqa is a future trainee solicitor at DLA Piper and has a background in technology. As an LLB Law graduate from the University of Warwick, she recently worked for Google's EMEA Legal Team. Faeqa has also worked in artificial intelligence; she configured machine learning AI on ThoughtRiver's legal contract acceleration platform. Her hobbies include creating digital illustrations for various web3 projects. As a marginalised, ethnic minority female, Faeqa is passionate to heighten diversity, inclusion and social mobility in the legal profession.

Charlie Atkins (he/him)
EVENTS MANAGER
Charlie is a future trainee solicitor at Cleary Gottlieb. Having studied Economics, Psychology, and Philosophy (EPP) at the University of Warwick, Charlie is passionate about supporting those with diverse experiences from a range of backgrounds.
As a previous GROW mentee, he advocates for the value of mentorship and the importance of Social Capital and is keen to use his experiences to reduce the barriers and share the opportunities within the legal industry.

Joseph is a first-year law student at the University of Warwick. He is passionate about increasing access to the legal profession and supports university initiatives that promote social mobility and diversity. Having previously been a mentee himself, Joseph is excited to give back and support GROWβs mission.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, gardening and swimming.

Sìkémi Okunrinboye (she/her)
EVENTS COORDINATOR
Sikemi is currently working in Corporate Legal Services. She is been passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion. She studied at the University of Kent where she was awarded the Kent Law School Special Prize for the Highest Contribution to the Law School for her advocacy for international, black and brown, and LGBTQ+ students and women on campus, and particularly those who sat at the intersection of these identities.
Sikemi sat on the Inclusive Change Advisory Board for the Breast Cancer Charity CoppaFeel, ensuring their message was more inclusive and reached those who would otherwise not see themselves represented in breast cancer awareness messages. She has also been a Global Partnerships for Education Youth Leader where she encouraged government officials and world leaders to invest in education for those who were left behind. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels, especially African Literature, kick boxes, loves Formula 1, the theatre and food.

Sylvia Zeng (she/her)
Events Coordinator
Sylvia is a trainee solicitor at Sky. She studied Management with Digital Innovation at the University of Warwick, followed by an MA Law (SQE1) from the University of Law.
Sylvia has served on committees for the ABACUS and Warwick Womenβs Careers societies, and worked on the United Nationsβ EQUALS Global Partnership project, βTalking Tech for Women.β Having benefited from GROW events herself and being a former GROW mentee, she is eager to give back. In her role as Events Coordinator, Sylvia aims to develop ideas that open up different pathways into law for underrepresented groups.

Finance Manager
David is a future trainee solicitor at a leading international law firm and has extensive paralegal experience spanning national and international law firms, Fortune 500 companies and investment funds.
David graduated with a Distinction in LLM International Banking and Finance Law at UCL. He is passionate about raising neurodiversity awareness in the legal sector. In his role as Finance Director, he brings a keen eye for detail and a passion for strategic financial planning. Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, David enjoys running, hiking and going to the gym.

Olivia Donlan (she/her)
CHARITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Olivia is a Legal Operations and Innovation Manager at Wise. She holds a Law degree from Durham University and has previous experience as a legal professional. Last year, Olivia transitioned into legal technology, focusing on integrating tech solutions to improve legal services. As a former GROW mentor, she is passionate about fostering inclusivity and diversity within the legal profession, and is specifically interested in raising awareness of non-traditional roles in the legal field.

Pratham Gupta (he/him)
CHARITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Pratham is a final-year law student at the University of Bristol. As the Co-Leader of the Race Inclusion Advocates, he leads projects with the University's academic and pastoral services to make them more inclusive for Global Majority students. He has served as the Vice President of the Unity & Diversity in Law Society, which aims to facilitate entry points into the legal industry for students from marginalised backgrounds. He also provides pro bono legal advice at the University of Bristol Law Clinic. He finds the GROW teamβs authenticity both refreshing and essential to supporting aspiring lawyers in entering the profession.

Simran Dosanjh (she/her)
FINANCE COORDINATOR
Simran is a future trainee solicitor at A&O Shearman and a final-year Law student at the University of Edinburgh.
As the first in her family to attend university, she knows first-hand how opaque and inaccessible the legal profession can feel, and is passionate about breaking down barriers and widening access for those who may not see law as an obvious or attainable path. She is proud to be part of GROW as a Finance Assistant, where she hopes to help create meaningful opportunities for others.

Tade Omiteru (she/her)
FINANCE COORDINATOR
Tade is a commercial paralegal. She has previous experience within finance, having worked at a consultancy for hedge funds and as a tax consultant at KPMG.
Tade studied LLB Law with Canadian Law at the University of Nottingham, where she advocated for greater inclusion within the legal sector, especially for underrepresented Black and Brown candidates. She was awarded the University of Nottingham Law Society Diversity Award for her efforts. Outside of her professional pursuits, Tade enjoys hiking and recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for charity.

Tom Verdon-Roe (he/him)
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Tom is a trainee solicitor at Shoosmiths and studied the LPC LLM at BPP University, Holborn. Tom is from a non-law background and previously studied English Literature and Film Studies at the University of Exeter. Tom has paralegal experience in commercial real estate and data protection. As a first-generation student and LGBTQ+ advocate, Tom is passionate about increasing awareness, access and diversity within the legal profession for all underrepresented groups.

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Elia is a future trainee solicitor at Stephenson Harwood. They have a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and, following this degree, they worked as the Disabled Students' Sabbatical Officer at the students' union. Elia has completed the PGDL and they are now studying for the SQE. Elia is passionate about diversity and inclusion. As such, they are excited to be supporting a diverse array of aspiring lawyers to access the legal profession as a member of the Operations team at GROW.

Anna is a trainee solicitor at Greenberg Traurig. She studied Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Leeds, followed by the GDL and LPC at the University of Law. Anna served on committees for the Women in Leadership Society at the University of Leeds and the Women in Law Society at ULaw Moorgate. She aspires to promote diversity, improve accessibility, and reduce barriers within the legal profession.

Eoin is a current paralegal at a US law firm, and a future trainee solicitor at A&O Shearman.
As a first-generation student that studied Law at Trinity College Dublin, Eoin is passionate about inclusivity in the legal profession and improving accessibility for under-represented groups. Having been both a mentor and mentee with different organisations, he recognises the value of mentorship, and joined GROW to help foster these relationships.

Operations Coordinator
Imaan is a paralegal and LSE Law graduate with diverse experience in law and public policy. As a woman of colour, she is passionate about breaking barriers and helping aspiring lawyers from similarly underrepresented backgrounds to access a legal career.
After working with socially mobile students as a Pathways to Law mentor whilst at university, Imaan deeply believes in the transformative impact of education and mentoring in helping young people achieve dreams that may initially feel out of reach. She is excited to be part of GROWβs team working towards a more inclusive and welcoming legal sector.

Neha is a Public Bills Officer at the House of Lords and is deeply passionate about social mobility and inclusivity. She has led and delivered events through ParliGender focused on creating more inclusive workplaces and championing equality. Through her work, she actively supports initiatives that promote access and this is something she continues to support with GROWβs vision.

Stella Goodwin (she/her)
Operations Coordinator
Stella is an early-careers community and internal communications specialist with experience at Higherin (formerly RMP Enterprise) and across education start-ups supporting ESL programmes and culturally immersive learning experiences in London.
Originally from New Zealand, she moved to the UK in 2017 for her university studies. Drawing on her lived experience as a former international student and neurodivergent individual, Stellaβs work centres on broadening inclusive opportunities for young people. She takes a collaborative, community-led approach, designing initiatives and events that resonate, foster connection and create meaningful access.

Nayiri is a solicitor, currently working at the Government Legal Department within the Commercial Law Group. Nayiri has worked and trained in-house, training at CA Auto Bank UK, with previous in-house legal experience, including eBay with the UK Markets Legal team, and at UK Power Networks with the cable damage team.
Nayiri was born in Canada and moved to the UK to study Law at the University of Nottingham. As a former GROW mentee and mentor, Nayiri deeply values the transformative impact of mentorship. With her international background, and experience in-house, she is committed to fostering inclusivity and diversity within the legal profession, particularly with broadening knowledge and access of the in-house legal sector.

Aimee is a solicitor in the Real Estate group at TLT based in Bristol.
As a GROW mentee (and now mentor) herself, she knows first hand the impact that mentoring can have on a career. Having attended a non-Russell Group university and having no connections into the legal sector, Aimee is passionate about providing support to the next wave of aspiring lawyers and opening up the legal industry through the power of mentoring and events. -

Hannah is a future trainee solicitor at Linklaters and joined GROW in spring of 2024. She is a current student at Durham University studying Biological Sciences and is also carrying out a placement at Pfizer as a clinical scientist. Her interests are in the intersection between STEM and law, as well as, improving social mobility within the legal profession. She has been involved several mentorship initiatives and is enjoying contributing to the incredible impact of GROW.

Apolline Hastings (she/her)
PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR
Apolline is a first-year multicultural student at the University of Cambridge, studying the disciplines of Human, Social and Political Sciences at Homerton College.
Devoted to social progression and intersectionality since age 14, Apolline consistently works with organisations such as βSisters Without Bordersβ to promote mentorship opportunities for women in conflict-ridden nations and served as a United Nations Women delegate for both CSW 67 and CSW 68 (2024). These initiatives illustrate Apollineβs foundational beliefs in equity, collectivity and humanism, which she is strongly passionate about integrating within the legal profession and beyond.

Austin is a trainee solicitor at Baker McKenzie. He comes from a non-law background, having studied Geography at UCL and then undertaken the PGDL at the University of Law.
Having gone into law without any prior connections, Austin understands the importance of mentorship and having a network to help progress in the profession. In GROW, he has found just that, and wants to pass on the favour to those in a similar position.

Hasti is an LLB Law student at the London School of Economics and currently leads two student societies.
She has a strong background in sales and relationship management, bringing a diverse and adaptable perspective shaped in part by being raised between the Middle East and the UK. Having founded a non-profit tutoring academy herself, she understands the impact of early opportunity and is committed to strengthening GROWβs mission.

Louise is a trainee solicitor at A&O Shearman. She studied LLB Law at the University of Nottingham, including a year abroad studying Chinese Law at the University of Hong Kong.
Having seen the transformative impact of mentorship schemes firsthand, Louise is passionate about

Tom Li (he/him)
Partnerships Coordinator
Tom is a third-year law student at Kingβs College London, an international and first-generation university student with a strong passion for widening access to a career in law. He believes everyone, regardless of background, should have the opportunity to explore and succeed in the legal profession.
Outside of academics and GROW, Tom takes an active leadership role in Pride Beats Prejudice, a pro bono legal clinic for the LGBTQ+ community, supporting volunteers and clients alike. His experiences reflect GROW Mentoringβs mission to empower aspiring lawyers through guidance, support, and representation.

Victoria is a trainee solicitor at Debevoise & Plimpton in London and recently completed a traineeship at the European Court of Human Rights after graduating from LLB Law at the University of Liverpool. As a first-generation student from a low-income household, Victoria looks forward to helping remove barriers in the legal profession and boosting the confidence of socially mobile candidates. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys reading, playing video games and telling everyone about her favourite sport, curling.

Aqsa Mahmood (she/her)

Aqsa is a first year Law student at the University of Cambridge. She is particularly interested in enhancing social mobility and diversity in education, which she believes is essential to creating equal opportunities and building a more inclusive society. Aqsa joined GROW because its values strongly align with her own, and she is excited to contribute to its mission of supporting aspiring lawyers from underrepresented backgrounds.
In her free time, Aqsa loves to read, travel, and watch movies.

Charlotte Ashurst (she/her)
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Charlotte is a final year Law student at the University of Nottingham, graduating in July, and recently completed a year abroad at the University of British Columbia.
Since returning from Canada, Charlotte has been involved in pro bono initiatives with AMICUS and Unbarred, supporting individuals affected by the barriers faced during and after imprisonment and within the criminal justice system. Alongside this, Charlotte has worked with children and students of all ages through tutoring, mentoring first year law students, group leading and volunteering. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong passion for motivating people, growing confidence, and helping make opportunities within the legal profession feel more accessible and less intimidating.
In her free time, Charlotte is usually trying out new food spots, planning future travels, or rewatching a comfort show.

Fairy Chi (she/her)
Social Media Assistant
Fairy is a final year Law student at Kingβs College London. As a young carer and a first-generation university student, she is deeply passionate about social mobility and widening access to the legal profession.
She has held various social mobility-focused roles, including a two-year tenure as a Youth Advisory Board Member at the EY Foundation, with a focus on communications. Through these experiences, she has seen the tangible impact of effective communication and is keen to pursue this role to widen opportunities, amplify underrepresented voices, and make a career in law feel less alienating.

Jessie Cho (she/her)
SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
Jessie is a PGDL student at the University of Law and an aspiring commercial solicitor with a background in digital marketing.
Jessie is passionate about creating inclusive spaces. During her time studying for a BA in English at UCL, she was a spokesperson for students accessibility issues as President of the English Society, a Student Representative on her department's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion committee, and a Lead Departmental Representative in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
While she studies law by day, Jessie is an underground singer by night. She also loves to curl up with a good page-turner at Waterstones.
