Who We Are

GROW is a registered charity aiming to advance social mobility, diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. We are increasing access to law through mentorship and community.

So far, GROW has successfully paired 10,000+ individuals across the legal industry and over 150 universities since launching in 2020

Any aspiring lawyer can sign up to GROW via a short online form on our website. This makes us different to other organisations as we don’t require a long application/CV/cover letter, interview or grade/background eligibility. We hope this makes us more accessible to our community.

What We Do

GROW pairs aspiring lawyers with professionals who have similar backgrounds or interests in the legal industry. This way of pairing is important to us as it allows mentees to feel represented in the industry and have a mentor who can be understanding, on a more personal level, of the challenges the mentee may be facing. Mentors are able to offer tailored one-to-one advice through a monthly video/call, email contact and hopefully in-person meet ups soon.

When we connect the mentee to their mentor, we also provide them with GROW’s Mentoring Guide to kick-start the relationship and ensure they feel empowered to drive their relationship forward and work with their mentor to achieve their goals. Mentees also have access to a mentee-only LinkedIn group so that they can network with their peers in the GROW community.

Our Pairing Process

Curious as to how you’ll be paired with your mentor or mentee? Ryan and Meg talk you through how the GROW team pair, how you’ll be connected with your mentor / mentee and how GROW supports you along the way.
