Nominations are OPEN for the GROW Awards 2023, kindly sponsored by Travers Smith.

Nominations will close on 18th August at 11:59pm BST. Winners will be decided by judges at Travers Smith, and will receive a trophy and be invited to a meal with Travers Smith in London (late September).

HOW TO ENTER

  • Maximum 250 word summary of why the individual being nominated is deserving of the award.

  • You can nominate yourself or someone else on their behalf for up to three awards.

Eligibility

  • You must be over 18 years old or over, currently residing or studying in the UK with an interest in pursuing a career in the legal profession.

Award descriptions

  • Social Mobility Advocate of the Year: In recognition of an individual who is passionate about driving change and breaking down barriers to ensure the inclusion of people from socially mobile backgrounds.

  • Diversity Advocate of the Year: In recognition of an individual who has championed diversity within their local area and/or wider community.

  • The Award for Resilience: In recognition of an individual who has overcome a challenge and persevered in the face of a barrier.

  • Outstanding Commitment to Pro Bono / Volunteering: In recognition of an individual who has dedicated time to a charity, organisation, legal clinic to give back and/or bring about change within a community or wider society.

  • Changemaker of the Year: In recognition of an individual who has demonstrated creativity and entrepreneurship, either as part of a team or individually, to support others and create a positive impact.

  • GROW Mentor of the Year: In recognition of a GROW mentor who has gone above and beyond to support and encourage their mentee to achieve their goals.

  • GROW Mentee of the Year: In recognition of a GROW mentee who has been dedicated, proactive and open-minded with their mentoring relationship.
