FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

- GROW Events -

General FAQs

  • Our virtual events are open to everyone. Our in-person events are age restricted, requiring all attendees to be aged 18 or over at the date of the event.

  • Our events are regularly oversubscribed - if you are no longer able to attend, we would appreciate your help to make sure your place is reallocated.

In order for your place to be passed on quickly, please let us know you can no longer make it via reply to your confirmation email as soon as possible, and sooner than 24 hours before the event in any case.

  • We share certificates of attendance for certain in-person events, and this will be confirmed in your registration email.

Certificates for in-person events are shared in alphabetical order, by first name, after the event.

  • Many of our events have a limited number of attendees and are highly popular. To ensure that we can accommodate as many members of our community as people at our events, we operate a blacklist policy in the event that attendees either do attend without notice, or drop out with under 24 hours notice.

Please note that final attendance lists are also passed on to the sponsor law firm(s).

FAQs for In-Person Events

  • Please let any member of the GROW team present at the event know, and you will be given a red sticker to be put on your name tag that will flag this to our Social Media and photography teams.

  • We operate a casual dress code policy for all of our events in line with our accessibility values. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in!

  • All our events are accessible, ensuring that there is some provision should you need a quiet room or prayer room.

If you need anything specific, please do not hesitate to contact us at events@growmentoring.org.

  • Please bring a valid form of identification. A digital form of ID may not always be appropriate depending on the requirements of our venue host - we will let you know in your confirmation email if you need physical ID.

FAQs for Virtual Events

  • Unfortunately, we do not always prepare recordings of our virtual events owing to sponsor firm requirements, and when these are available they are circulated solely to those who were able to attend in full.

  • Yes you can. However, we recommend that you have a camera turned on to engage well and set a good impression of yourself with our sponsor law firm(s) and their graduate recruitment teams.
