Attendees heard from junior lawyers across various offices in the UK about their first-hand experiences of securing internships and training contracts at the firm, building commercial awareness and overcoming imposter syndrome.

GROW mentees also received a deep dive into DLA’s corporate departments, led by a senior associate at the firm. This helped the audience better understand wider market trends and how merger and acquisition (M&A) deals worked.

DLA also delivered a technology commercial case study session breaking down a technology M&A deal led by a lawyer from their Tech and IP practice. This was followed by an applications masterclass, led by the Early Careers team, providing a high-level insight into international graduate opportunities at the firm.
